School Speech Language Pathologist - Marrero, LA

The position is onsite, located in the New Orleans, LA, area, serving a caseload of approximately 50-60 students at the elementary school level.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to practice as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
• State licensure or eligibility for SLP practice in Louisiana
• Previous school-based experience is preferred, but candidates with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Committed to culturally responsive and student-centered service delivery

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
• Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student achievement
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives as needed
• Support students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs within the school environment
