Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication development as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours for the fall semester, covering a maternity leave from mid-September through the end of November. You’ll manage a manageable caseload of 50-60 elementary school students, partnering with teachers and families to ensure every child receives high-quality speech and language services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Current CCC-SLP certification preferred; will consider Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants
  • Valid license to practice SLP in Louisiana
  • School-based experience or strong desire to work in a K-5 educational setting
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary students
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Complete required documentation and progress reports punctually
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, administrators, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development for students
  • Maintain compliance with all state and school policies
  • Commitment to 100% onsite work for the full contract duration
