Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to practice as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- State licensure or eligibility for SLP practice in Louisiana
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but candidates with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Committed to culturally responsive and student-centered service delivery
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student achievement
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives as needed
- Support students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs within the school environment
