Make a direct impact in the lives of young learners by supporting early childhood students as a speech-language professional. This contract role offers a balanced schedule and the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team near Marshall, MO. Both certified SLPs and SLPAs are encouraged to apply—your expertise will help foster communication skills for a caseload of approximately 32 early childhood students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed or certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with early childhood populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
  • Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and therapy plans

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood students
  • Assess, develop, and update individualized education plans for each student
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and provide timely documentation
  • Collaborate regularly with a supportive SLPA already on staff, along with other school professionals and families
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to developing best practices for student success
  • Offer guidance and resources to classroom teachers as needed
