Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathology license (CFY and CCC considered)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood development and intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to create, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and therapy services to children ages 3-5 in a school setting
- Develop individualized goals and document student progress toward those goals
- Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and family members to ensure comprehensive support for each child
- Use evidence-based therapy techniques to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in adherence to school and state requirements
