Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience delivering speech therapy services within a school setting preferred
  • Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
  • Capable of maintaining timely and accurate documentation following district and legal standards

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and update individual treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy for students, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate communication goals within the classroom
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to parents and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate students’ records and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education to ensure high-quality service delivery
