Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience delivering speech therapy services within a school setting preferred
- Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Strong interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Capable of maintaining timely and accurate documentation following district and legal standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and update individual treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy for students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate communication goals within the classroom
- Communicate progress and recommendations to parents and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate students’ records and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education to ensure high-quality service delivery
