Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Open to both SLPs and highly qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with school-based experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support for students across grade levels for the full 2026-2027 school year
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support a collaborative learning environment
  • Keep accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and activities that foster a positive educational atmosphere
