Ideal Background & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent for SLPAs)
- Active, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- Experience providing services in school-based settings
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, flexible, and excited to adapt to changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret assessments related to speech, language, and communication
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students
- Engage in teletherapy sessions as needed
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to promote best outcomes
- Document progress and maintain thorough records according to school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team initiatives
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in school speech-language services
