This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a dynamic environment for passionate SLPs and SLPAs interested in working closely with K-12 learners. You’ll collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication goals, using both in-person and teletherapy modalities to reach learners effectively.

Ideal Background & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent for SLPAs)
  • Active, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
  • Experience providing services in school-based settings
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, flexible, and excited to adapt to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and interpret assessments related to speech, language, and communication
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students
  • Engage in teletherapy sessions as needed
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to promote best outcomes
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records according to school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team initiatives
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices in school speech-language services
