Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Tennessee
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or relevant clinical experience (CFY applicants considered)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school personnel
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with speech/language needs
- Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with educational and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Contribute to multidisciplinary educational teams and foster inclusive learning environments
