Desired Background & Credentials:

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred

  • Ability to develop individual education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based therapy
  • Experience with diverse student populations and various communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with district and state standards
  • Educate and advocate for students with communication disorders within the school community
