Desired Background & Credentials:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop individual education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based therapy
- Experience with diverse student populations and various communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with district and state standards
- Educate and advocate for students with communication disorders within the school community
