Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschool and elementary students through impactful speech-language therapy services. This contract position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing for tailored placements across select schools based on your preferences and availability.

In this role, you will help cover a critical preschool position, with responsibilities split between evaluations and dedicated classroom support. The schedule features one day focused on evaluations and three to four days delivering direct preschool therapy. In addition, there is an option to provide targeted therapy support at both preschool and elementary levels, focusing solely on treatment rather than evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and SLP-CCC credentials
  • Strong background in working with preschool and/or elementary populations
  • Experience performing assessments and managing caseloads in a school environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and engage families
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for preschool students as scheduled
  • Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups, targeting communication, language, and articulation needs
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement student-centered intervention plans
  • Support students’ growth and participation in school activities through tailored therapy
  • Provide additional therapy services to preschool and elementary students as assigned
