Desired Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• School-based SLP experience strongly desired
• Familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to engage students and work alongside educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students, addressing a range of communication needs
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in ECATS
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
• Provide support and resources for classroom teachers regarding student communication strategies
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations relating to speech pathology services
