Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with students of varying ages and abilities
- Ability to travel throughout the county as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, integrating best practices and evidence-based interventions
- Evaluate and assess students to determine therapy needs and set appropriate goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student sessions, progress, and evaluations
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings as needed, contributing expertise to the development of education plans
- Adapt services to a variety of school environments, managing a dynamic caseload across different campuses
