As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you will make a lasting difference for young learners, working closely with educators and families to foster each student’s success. Openings are available in two welcoming schools—one in Eden, NC, and another at Lincoln Elementary.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in North Carolina
- CCC-SLP certification preferred; strong CFY candidates will also be considered
- Passion for working with children in educational environments
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to promote generalization of skills
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with local and federal regulations
- Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
