Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Mayville, NY

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services within a school environment for the entire academic year. Your expertise will help support K-12 students, ensuring they reach their highest potential in communication and language skills.

In this role, you’ll work Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, delivering 20 targeted sessions each week. Each session lasts 30 minutes, allowing you to foster meaningful progress while developing positive relationships with a diverse student population. The position spans the full school year, beginning September 8, 2026, and concluding June 24, 2027.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Flexibility, organizational skills, and a student-centered mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 30-minute therapeutic sessions with students across K-12, totaling 20 sessions weekly
• Assess speech, language, and communication disorders; interpret evaluation results
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by school standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaborations
• Provide resources and support to classroom teachers and families
