School Speech Language Pathologist - Maywood, Illinois

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or equivalent
• Current or eligible for SLP licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) applicants welcome
• Experience or strong desire to work with pre-kindergarten or early childhood populations
• Familiarity with school-based and healthcare SLP practice
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to pre-K students in a school setting
• Develop and implement individualized education or intervention plans
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and document outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and action plans
• Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
