Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students in secondary education settings as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Based near Mc Cormick and Greenwood, SC, this position invites two skilled SLPs to make a meaningful impact across high school and middle school environments. With full-time hours consolidated into a 4-day week and a start date of July 17th, 2026, you'll enjoy a balanced schedule over a 190-day contract.
You will provide essential speech and language services across two distinctive caseloads: one focused exclusively on secondary education and another in a mixed, itinerant role. Collaborate closely with educators and staff while working within diverse student populations, tailoring interventions to foster academic and communicative success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP license and relevant certification required
- Experience working within school settings, especially secondary education, strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt service delivery across high school and middle school populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Confidence in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational proficiency for successful itinerant work across different sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with speech and language needs
- Conduct and interpret assessments, updating goals and progress regularly
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Document services, maintain timely records, and ensure compliance with educational requirements
- Travel between assigned sites as needed for the itinerant caseload
- Support students’ social, academic, and functional communication
