Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (either accepted to start; both eventually required)
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLAs with GaPSC certification
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred, especially with elementary students
  • SLP-CCC highly desired
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Passion for working collaboratively in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Provide consultation and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication development
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and reports in accordance with district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-based support teams
