Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (either accepted to start; both eventually required)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLAs with GaPSC certification
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, especially with elementary students
- SLP-CCC highly desired
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for working collaboratively in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Provide consultation and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication development
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and reports in accordance with district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based support teams
