Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
- School-based or pediatric experience desired, but clinical fellowships are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and direct therapy delivery for K-12 students
- Strong commitment to culturally responsive, student-focused care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders among students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to develop tailored treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to meet IEP goals
- Maintain thorough records of progress, evaluations, and ongoing documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals and support plans
- Offer support and consultation to staff on language, speech, and communication needs
