Speech Language Pathologist in Mckeesport, PA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Mckeesport, PA, supporting students in a school-based setting. This full-time position allows you to make an impact on young learners from kindergarten through 5th grade, providing essential speech-language services during a leave coverage assignment. You'll work a consistent schedule — Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm — from September 14th, 2026, through approximately November 20th, 2026.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
• Valid Pennsylvania SLP license and certification
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience with K-5 populations and diverse speech/language needs
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with speech evaluations and IEP development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-5th grade students in alignment with IEP requirements
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Write and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student success plans
