Ready to make an impact in the school community as a Speech-Language Pathologist? This contract opportunity near Mckeesport, PA, offers the chance to support K-5th grade students and work closely with a collaborative educational team. This full-time assignment starts on September 14, 2026, and continues through approximately November 20, 2026, covering a planned leave. The schedule runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring you have evenings and weekends free.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and required certifications
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K-5th grade students
  • Familiarity with IEPs and conducting speech-language evaluations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Team-oriented attitude and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students in kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student growth
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and maintain necessary records
  • Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups as appropriate
