SLP in Mckinney, TX

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in McKinney, TX, providing services to a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role requires an onsite professional to manage mixed caseloads effectively and support communication development for students across grade levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings for students K-12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication needs
• Provide therapy services to address speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress and monitor goals
• Document student progress and maintain timely reports according to school guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience working within school settings, managing a mixed caseload from early childhood through high school
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time, 40 hours per week, from ASAP to the end of the school year
