This contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is based near the Mckinney, TX area, serving a middle and elementary school caseload of approximately 35 students, each requiring specialized speech and language support.

Your expertise will directly impact individual student achievement and help foster a supportive, collaborative learning environment. As a valued clinical partner, you’ll conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, develop targeted IEP goals, and provide both direct and consultative services. Working side-by-side with educational staff, families, and administrators, you'll champion best practices for students’ wellbeing and growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a K–12 or school-based setting desired
  • Demonstrated skill supporting middle and elementary-age students
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Relatable, organized, and flexible approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy
  • Complete assessments and contribute to IEP development
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes
  • Partner with educators, administrators, and families for student-centered planning
  • Provide training, resources, and support for staff as needed

This is a full-time, onsite contract position running from August 2026 through May 2027, offering consistent hours and the fulfillment of making a difference every day.
