Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience is an advantage
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- A commitment to collaborative, student-centered practice
- Reliable transportation for traveling between schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments for a varied student population
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and speech services
- Provide both direct and indirect speech-language therapy
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to ensure optimal student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
This position offers a full-time, 40-hour week throughout the school year, providing you the chance to build strong professional relationships, refine your clinical skills, and witness the progress of the students in your care.
