A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to serve elementary and occasional middle school students across 2-3 buildings. This full-time position is ideal for professionals passionate about evidence-based practices and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA license required
- Prior experience in school, healthcare, pediatric, or teletherapy settings is a plus
- Strong commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those with speech and language challenges
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and documentation for a school-based caseload
- Ability to adapt to varying classroom environments and engage with staff and families
- Effective communicator and adept collaborator with teachers and related service team members
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and consultative services to students in both individual and group settings
- Evaluate and document speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with IEP teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions for optimal results
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings, maintaining timely records and reports
- Travel between assigned elementary and middle school buildings as needed
