Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mechanicsburg, PA

Make an impact supporting elementary students with autism in a dynamic and collaborative environment for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers rewarding work directly with children who benefit from expert guidance in communication skills, with hours from 8:10 AM – 3:40 PM. You’ll become an integral resource for supporting academic progress, social growth, and positive outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
• Experience or genuine interest in working with elementary students, especially those with autism
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance in the school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ communication strengths and areas of need
• Design and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other professionals to support integrated learning
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide documentation, and uphold all compliance requirements
• Support students’ ability to access the curriculum and develop meaningful social relationships
