School Speech Language Pathologist - Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the end of the 2025–2026 school year! This contract opportunity involves working in an elementary setting, providing vital communication support for a caseload of 34 students who are all autistic. Your skills will directly help students develop academically and thrive socially.

Schedule:

• Full-time hours, 8:10 AM – 3:40 PM, Monday through Friday
• Beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 4, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that foster effective communication
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate speech and language goals into everyday activities
• Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with IEPs, state guidelines, and district procedures
• Provide ongoing support and progress monitoring, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Participate in team meetings and share expertise to promote student success

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current license and certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Solid understanding of intervention strategies for autistic students
• Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
