You’ll work across two elementary buildings serving a diverse caseload of 50-55 students. The schedule mirrors the academic environment, running Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm, ensuring a consistent 35-hour workweek. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 27, 2027, with the possibility of renewal.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current SLP license or eligibility in the state
- CCC-SLP certification, Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
- Background in both regular education and supporting students with autism
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery models, including some aspects of case management
- SLPA experience and certification beneficial
- Effective communicator with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Manage a caseload of 50-55 across two school buildings
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver services to both regular education and autistic support classrooms
- Collaborate with educators, support personnel, and families to optimize student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in meetings or case management duties as needed
