Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Pennsylvania required
- CCC-SLP credentials or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
- Experience with pediatric or elementary-aged populations preferred
- Capable of collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP processes
- For SLPAs: Completion of an accredited SLPA program and Pennsylvania registration
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and documentation as required
- Collaborate with educators to integrate speech-language support into classroom activities
- Provide guidance and resources to families for carryover strategies at home
- Support the professional development and mentoring of CFY candidates or assistants, as appropriate
