Extended School Year (ESY) School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Mechanicsville, Maryland

Bring your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology and passion for supporting students to a contract opportunity serving K-12 learners in the greater Prince Frederick area. This short-term assignment is ideal for an SLP holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and interested in Extended School Year (ESY) work.

Enjoy a consistent schedule of 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8am to 12pm between June 29th and July 30th. You’ll work with a diverse range of students, making a tangible difference during summer learning.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP-CCC certification and eligibility for Maryland licensure
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Familiarity with ESY services and individualized education plan (IEP) processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring as required
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student success
• Deliver both group and individual therapy sessions
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of services provided
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to programming content
