You’ll work a steady, predictable 35-hour weekly schedule (7-hour days) in a dynamic school environment near Mechanicsville, MD.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current or eligible Maryland licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
- School-based SLP experience, or a passion for working in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for students ages 5-18
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across kindergarten through 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in K-12
- Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings as required
- Deliver services in individual and group settings, adapting interventions to meet a range of needs
