A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with school-aged students, starting as soon as possible and continuing through mid-June 2027. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in Maryland (MD SLP License)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans for a diverse caseload of school-age children
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills among students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services and progress monitoring for school-aged learners
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and guidance
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and team collaboration within the school community
