School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Mechanicsville, Virginia

Ideal qualifications and experience include:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or current enrollment in a Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to efficiently manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate documentation

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s unique needs and goals
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support students’ progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and document all services provided
