A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a vibrant school setting located in Medford, OR. This contract position spans the current school year, from ASAP through June 4, 2026. The role requires in-person service with a standard schedule of 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, focusing on providing direct speech and language therapy to students within Jackson County.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication interventions
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Supporting students’ communication needs through assessment, treatment planning, and intervention
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Oregon licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is mandatory
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Prior experience providing speech therapy services in school settings or with K-12 caseloads highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working effectively with students, staff, and families
