This role serves a diverse group, spanning three elementary classes, one middle school class, and one high school class, where you’ll work alongside dedicated educators to make a lasting impact on students’ academic and social success.

Your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist will be critical in fostering inclusive learning environments and empowering students at all grade levels to reach their fullest potential. This position offers a fulfilling professional experience in a collaborative, supportive setting.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to support students with diverse speech and language needs in both group and individual settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families to maximize student progress
  • Monitor and document student outcomes, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional guidance to colleagues regarding communication strategies
