A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services within an elementary school setting. This vital role will support students' communication needs as part of a dedicated educational team. The assignment is located near Media, PA, with specific dates: staff begin on 8/24 and students return on 8/31. Staff hours are Monday through Friday, 8:20 AM to 3:45 PM.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and providing both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other special education staff to support student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and compliance requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team activities as needed
  • Provide timely communication with parents and guardians on student progress and needs
