School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Medical Lake, Washington

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full school year, through June 16th. This contract position offers the chance to make a real difference within a dynamic educational setting serving a vibrant and diverse student population.

You’ll collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including two experienced SLP colleagues, working within specialized Autism/IDD classrooms as well as preschool classrooms. This role is ideal for SLPs who are passionate about providing transformative therapy, fostering communication development, and embracing a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid SLP license; CCC or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
• Background in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings preferred
• Experience with or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
• Knowledge of teletherapy, augmentative communication, and individualized education planning is highly valued
• SLPA and SLP candidates from both school and healthcare backgrounds are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Work with students in general and special education classrooms, including Autism/IDD and preschool programs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Utilize technology and teletherapy tools when necessary
