Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
  • Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals and educational outcomes
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development
  • Offer consultation and support to classroom staff, promoting strategies for communication success across school settings
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with all regulatory and district standards
