A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year, starting in January and continuing through the end of the school year. This role supports a K-12 educational setting, working with students at one high school and one small elementary school in Medina, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certification and experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in school settings
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including students with diverse speech and language disorders
- Ability to manage caseloads in both high school and elementary school environments
- Completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of healthcare aspects related to speech-language pathology and holding CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials is a plus
