Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or pending ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Active Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy to students with varied needs and backgrounds

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services onsite to a diverse student caseload (caseload details to follow)
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing evaluations as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Attend meetings with educators and parents to discuss student progress and strategies for support
  • Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families regarding speech and language development
  • Work independently—this position does not supervise SLPAs
