Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy to students with varied needs and backgrounds
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services onsite to a diverse student caseload (caseload details to follow)
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Attend meetings with educators and parents to discuss student progress and strategies for support
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families regarding speech and language development
- Work independently—this position does not supervise SLPAs
