This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in early childhood education within a school setting. The position involves serving students ages 3-7 in a dynamic environment that supports diverse developmental needs, including evaluations and therapy services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
  • Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
  • Ability to conduct child find evaluations for children aged 3-5
  • Experience working with Early Childhood Special Education and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms
  • Comfort serving K-2 cross-categorical classes
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable for this role

Location:

  • Melvindale, MI (school setting)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for students ages 3-7
  • Conduct new child find evaluations for children ages 3-5
  • Deliver targeted services to Early Childhood Special Education classrooms, ASD K/1 classrooms, and K-2 cross-categorical classrooms
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication and learning goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy plans

Schedule and Term:

  • Full-time position
  • Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Position is likely to renew for the 2026-2027 school year, offering continuity in service
