Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a dynamic elementary school environment, focused on providing high-quality speech and language services. This contract opportunity begins August 10, 2026, and continues through December with the potential—but not a guarantee—for extension into the full academic year. You'll be covering a maternity leave and working alongside a collaborative team, including another experienced SLP and a dedicated SLPA.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP-CCC credential and appropriate state licensure
  • Previous experience delivering speech-language services in school settings
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with AAC devices
  • Comfort providing speech therapy to medically fragile pediatric populations
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills, essential for teaming with onsite specialists

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language interventions to students in three medically fragile classrooms
  • Collaborate closely with classroom staff, the onsite SLP, and SLPA to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Integrate AAC systems and technology into therapy sessions to facilitate student communication
  • Support progress monitoring and documentation, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and reporting requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and consult with educational staff and families as needed
