Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave. This contract opportunity is based near Hartford, WI, and serves students primarily from early childhood through first grade, with several second and third graders included as well. The assignment spans approximately eight weeks, beginning late October, aligning with the maternity leave coverage.

In this position, you'll benefit from our 3:1 service delivery model, giving you structured time for direct therapy, collaboration, and documentation. The schedule is five days per week, eight hours daily, with potential for shorter Fridays—current caseload on Fridays is typically just six students.

Bring your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, whether from in-person, teletherapy, or previous school settings. Those completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) are encouraged to apply alongside experienced clinicians.

Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Wisconsin SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience with early childhood through elementary populations
  • Familiarity with school-based procedures and IEP documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms is a plus

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver engaging therapy to EC-3rd grade students
  • Implement IEPs and provide progress monitoring in accordance with school protocols
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student planning
  • Utilize provided 3:1 model for efficient scheduling and student support
