Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Menomonee Falls, WI

This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing coverage for a maternity leave! This full-time contract role is located near Hartford, WI and supports students across early childhood through 3rd grade. The position is designed for a caring and motivated SLP who’s eager to engage with young learners in a school setting where early intervention is valued.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, with a unique 3:1 service delivery model—three weeks of direct therapy and one week for paperwork, planning, and collaboration—creating a balanced and manageable workload. Fridays may be slightly shortened, as only a small group of students is typically seen that day. The primary caseload is EC-1st grade, with a few 2nd and 3rd grade students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse elementary caseload
• Engage with families and teachers to support student communication needs
• Document progress and maintain compliance with school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Utilize teletherapy skills as applicable for student support
• Create engaging, developmentally-appropriate therapy activities
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, especially for lighter Fridays
• Support students’ growth and celebrate their achievements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status
• Experience with pediatrics and school-based settings preferred
• Skills in teletherapy and early-childhood intervention
• Collaborative spirit and strong communication abilities
• Wisconsin licensure (or eligibility)
