Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid and current SLP license in the state of Ohio
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are also welcome
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with educators and families to support student success
• Offer recommendations and strategies to teachers for classroom carryover of skills
