Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Positive attitude with a passion for student-centered service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents to support student progress
  • Monitor and document outcomes, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and school standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
  • Offer both one-on-one and small group therapy sessions, adapting strategies as needed
  • Serve as a resource for educational staff, sharing strategies and techniques to support communication development in the classroom
