Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Ohio state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Experience, training, or strong interest in pediatric or school-based SLP services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, individually and in groups
  • Monitor and document student progress, preparing detailed progress reports
  • Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Stay current with best practices, maintaining professional development
