In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s goals
- Facilitate engaging therapy sessions to address speech and language objectives
- Carefully track and document student progress to inform instructional decisions
- Partner effectively with teachers, support staff, and fellow therapists to ensure cohesive care
- Involve families, providing guidance and strategies to support communication development at home
Applicants should have:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ideally, a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged children, preferably in a school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology or willingness to obtain one
