School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | Merced, CA | 2026–2027 School Year

About the Role
We're seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Merced, CA for the full 2026–2027 school year. This is a contract, on-site position—not open to virtual/teletherapy providers. We welcome traveling therapists and out-of-state candidates willing to relocate for the assignment.

Position Details
Start Date: August 13, 2026
End Date: June 4, 2027
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $55.00 – $70.00 / hour, based on experience
Caseload: Moderate to severe disabilities
Setting: Multiple school sites / itinerant travel required
Student Population: K–12

Responsibilities
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with moderate to severe disabilities
Travel between multiple school sites to serve assigned caseload
Collaborate with teachers, IEP teams, and related service providers
Maintain accurate service records and progress documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development

Qualifications
Active California OT Licensure (required)
California Teaching Credential (CTC) or eligible to obtain
SEIS Service Tracker experience strongly preferred
Previous school-based OT experience preferred
Experience with moderate to severe caseloads preferred
Comfortable with itinerant, multi-site assignments
Travel & Relocation
