Step into a dynamic school-based environment near Meriden, CT, supporting elementary students' growth and communication skills. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers immediate start dates and continues through June 11, 2027. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll provide speech-language pathology services across elementary caseloads, and may be asked to serve students at two school sites.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut SLP license (upfront licensure is an advantage)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required OR open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) with supervision provided, though district supervision capacity is limited
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is required
  • Comfortable with onsite service delivery, 35 hours per week
  • Ability to obtain district fingerprints and pass a background check
  • Ready for a fast-paced environment and capable of managing caseloads independently
  • SLPAs are not eligible for these positions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy for elementary students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement IEPs effectively
  • Travel between two school sites as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to parent/teacher conferences
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
