Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary and pre-k students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting from August 2026 through May 2027. This engaging opportunity centers on providing essential student services onsite, working both 1:1 and in small groups to make a meaningful difference in young learners’ communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50-60 elementary and pre-k students
  • Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in IEP meetings
  • Manage Medicaid billing and maintain accurate, timely documentation for all cases
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Participate in school-based teams to support student progress and address any emerging needs

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid SLP license for Kansas and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in writing IEPs and conducting assessments within an educational environment
  • Experience with Medicaid billing processes
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated to delivering services onsite as part of a collaborative team
