Step into a dynamic educational environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, supporting students’ communication and language development. This school-based opportunity offers both full-time and part-time options for passionate professionals eager to make a meaningful impact over the full academic year. Immediate start available, with the position extending through June 3, 2027.

This setting values innovative, student-centered services and is transitioning from virtual SLP coverage to onsite professionals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student success. All experience levels are welcome, including SLPs with CCC, SLPs in their CFY, and experienced or new SLPAs with school backgrounds.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility; SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
  • SLPA candidates require appropriate state licensure and school-based experience preferred
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for school-age populations (PreK–12)
  • Ability to design and implement IEPs and deliver direct and consultative speech/language services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication disorders in diverse settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative interventions
  • Support positive, inclusive learning environments that foster student progress
