Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure and certification to practice as an SLP in Indiana
- Prior experience or clinical placements within K-12 school settings preferred
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and provide speech-language therapy to students
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and educational staff
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads efficiently
- Dedication to providing evidence-based intervention and supporting student success
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and parents
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to achieve developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
