Job Type Contract

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting young learners during the 2026-2027 academic year! We're seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services in a dynamic K-2 setting. This full-time opportunity offers between 32.5–37.5 hours per week from August 2026 through June 2027.

You’ll make a direct impact on a manageable caseload—typically 10 or fewer students—many diagnosed with Autism and requiring AAC devices to aid their communication. Your expertise will be complemented by classroom support professionals, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility upon start
  • Experience with K-2 populations in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong background working with students with Autism and those utilizing AAC devices
  • Proficiency in collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adjust strategies to meet individualized student needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a small caseload of elementary-aged students
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement IEP goals customized for each child’s communication objectives
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, paras, and RBTs to integrate therapy into daily activities
  • Guide and educate staff and families on AAC device usage
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP/eligibility meetings

If you’re passionate about shaping the early academic and communicative journeys of young learners, this contract offers a purposeful opportunity within an experienced and supportive team. Take your expertise where it’s needed most and help give every student a voice.
