School Speech Language Pathologist - Merrimack, New Hampshire

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) ready to make a positive impact in the educational setting. This contract-to-hire role is based near Merrimack, NH, with an immediate start date and the potential to extend beyond an initial end date of December 2026. The position offers consistent, daytime hours—7:15am to 2:15pm—with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will have experience or training in both school and healthcare environments. You’ll deliver direct speech and language services to students, with the added potential for conducting assessments if you are an SLP. Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an SLP or SLPA, or eligibility to obtain
• Proficiency or certification in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-Teletherapy preferred
• Experience in K-12 school settings or related healthcare fields
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to IEPs
• Conduct student evaluations and assessments (SLP only)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
