Requirements:

  • Active Texas SLP license
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or DHHT certification
  • Recent fingerprinting clearance through TEA (or willingness to complete prior to start)
  • Experience with school-aged populations preferred
  • Genuine interest in working with DHH students

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy-focused SLP services to DHH students
  • Collaborate with SLP team and school staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and program planning
  • Adapt therapy strategies to support language development and communication
