School Speech Language Pathologist - Metairie, LA

Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year supporting students’ communication growth as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near the New Orleans area. This role is scheduled to begin August 7, 2026, and extends through May 27, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule aligned with the school calendar. You’ll enjoy an engaging environment, helping students develop essential speech and language skills that foster success in and out of the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current or eligible state licensure
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Ability to complete required drug screening and fingerprinting
• Passion for supporting a diverse student population across various schools (final school assignments and caseloads to be determined)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to students with speech and language needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote student achievement
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student support planning
• Travel between assigned campuses as needed (number of schools to be determined)
